Tropical Escape is painted white with terra cotta tiles and wide arches, in an airy Spanish style. Opposite the hotel is the beautiful white sand beach of Paynes Bay, St James, the famous west coast of Barbados.

Tropical Escape is a lovely location for couples looking for a very relaxing holiday but also welcomes singles and families too. The staff treat the guests as friends, which gives a very happy and relaxed environment.

The grand entrance opens into a spacious reception area. Straight on through reception, up a few stairs and you come out by the pool, surrounded by a large sundeck with tropical plants and the pool bar. Two minutes over the road and you are on a lovely stretch of deep, sandy beach – there is safe swimming here. The hotel is located about 45 minutes from Grantley Adams Airport, 15 minutes from Bridgetown and 5 minutes from Holetown.

Rooms and accommodation:

The hotel's 52 rooms are spacious and all have a balcony or patio. The interior decor is modern and stylish.
The bedrooms are on the upper two floors of the hotel - access by stairs only so would not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.
