Resort description:

Originally built as a sugar plantation in the late 18th century, Nisbet Plantation Beach Club is set in 30 acres of gardens fronted by lawns and an Avenue of Palms leading down to the white sand beach.

There is a natural coral reef off-shore which protects the beach, and offers spectacular snorkelling opportunities. Other activities include tennis and croquet or you may just want to lie beside the large oceanfront swimming pool. The cocktail bar, lounge and gourmet restaurant are situated in The Great House, where sumptuous dinners are served in the elegant colonial surroundings.

Once a week there is a beach barbeque with live band. The delightfully furnished rooms are set in cottages throughout the palm groves - a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy.

Superior Room (sleeping up to 2 adults) have a king size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, shower room, hairdryer, telephone,mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, safety deposit box, iron and board and a screened patio.

Deluxe Suite (sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) as above, but has a full bathroom, separate living area including sofa-bed, and patio with garden view.

Premier Junior Suite (sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children over 5 years) as above but are split level, and are nearest to the sea with open patio or balcony with ocean view.

Dress code is casually elegant. Gentlemen are not required to wear jacket and tie, although evening wear is smart casual. No jeans, T-shirts or shorts in the Great House after 6:00pm.
