Resort description:

Calabash Hotel is situated in secluded Prickly Bay and offers intimate, relaxing accommodation with excellent cuisine and exceptional standards of personal service. The friendly, long serving staff are trained to the highest standards, with a ratio of more than one staff member per guest.

The restaurant, serving dinner daily, is the first Rhodes Restaurant outside the UK and a number of the hotel's senior chefs have been cooking in the UK with Gary Rhodes and his team.  A full a la carte breakfast is prepared to order and served on your private balcony or terrace each morning.  A la carte lunches are available from Jefferson's Beach Restaurant.  Other extra touches include a welcome cocktail, complimentary fruit plate or fruit punch on the beach, afternoon tea served in the lounge bar and evening cocktail canapés delivered to your room every evening. 

The resort’s diving centre offers a full range of scuba diving and training options as well as catamaran and sunset cruises.

Rooms and accommodation:

West Side Suites (sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child) have a king-size bed which can be converted into twin beds, bedroom air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-bar, hairdryer, personal safe, whirlpool bath, large shower, bathrobes, cable TV (on request) cd player, internet connection, iron and board, and tea and coffee making facilities. Lounge area and balcony or terrace.

Whirlpool Suites (sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) as above but slightly larger.

Superior Suite (sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) as above, but even more spacious.

Pool Suite (sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) as above, but with a private plunge pool.

Children's Dinner Offer Up to two children under 6 years old eat from the hotel's children's dinner menu when 2 adults book dinner supplement for the duration of their stay.  Valid year round except mid Jan - mid Mar, when children under 12 years are not accepted.

Free weddings:

During June, July and August there will be no charge for the wedding arrangements if the bride and groom stay a minimum of 14 nights on a half board basis.  For added value and as a wedding gift to the couple, the bride will receive 7 nights complimentary dinners.

During June, July and August there will be no charge if the couple stay a minimum of 7 nights on a half board basis. 
Honeymooners will receive flowers, sparkling wine and a room upgrade subject to availability on arrival.

Children under 12 years are not accepted mid January to mid March. Children under 6 years are not permitted in the restaurant or bar after 7pm.

Child reductions apply to children under 12 years of age on the date of their return travel to the UK sharing a room with 2 adults.

Dress for dinner is casual/elegant. Shorts, jeans, hats and T- shirts are not acceptable in the bar and restaurant during dinner.

Minimum stay is 7 nights.
